Dr. Magor Ernyei is a lawyer, diplomat, and transatlantic foreign policy advisor with over a decade of experience operating at the intersection of diplomacy, law, and geopolitics. He is the founder and CEO of Corvin Strategies, a boutique advisory firm bridging Central Europe and the United States.
He served as Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Hungary in Washington, D.C. (2021–2023), where he oversaw the Embassy's strategic direction and developed high-level relationships across the U.S. government, Congress, and the think tank community. Prior to that, he served as Congressional Liaison at the same Embassy, building direct working relationships with Members of Congress and designing outreach strategies on issues of bilateral and European relevance.
Over nearly a decade at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, he advanced from Desk Officer to Head of Department and Senior Policy Advisor, working across EU, NATO, and security policy. He provided strategic counsel on security and energy policy to the State Secretary level and contributed to the coordination of EU-level foreign and security policy initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he was an International Research Fellow at the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University in Washington, D.C., where he conducted research on U.S. foreign policy and transatlantic relations. He holds a Juris Doctor from Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and completed legal studies at the University of Trier, Germany. He speaks Hungarian, English, German, and Romanian.
